Posted on 31 May 2019 by admin (0)

Lucerne is one of the most happening places that I came across in Switzerland. There are a plethora of things to do here. Starting from nature to the museum, you will find it all. It is one of the most spectacular tours that I had. In case you are traveling to Lucerne anytime soon, here are a few things that you need to check out.

Mount Pilatus

Visiting Lucerne and not being mesmerized by Mount Pilatus is something that it never going to happen. It has the nickname of Dragon Mountain. This was after a medieval legend claimed that the mountain is inhabited by a dragon that has healing powers. I climbed up to the top to check out the panoramic view. Lake Lucerne

Lake Lucerne is the most beautiful thing that I saw in this country, surrounded by mountains on all sides. I availed the paddle steamers to cruise on the lake. The waterside neighborhood of the lake had been configured in 1800 for taking advantage of the landscape.

Chapel Bridge

Crossing Reuss, I found this oldest truss bridge in existing. This is also the emblem of Lucerne. This 14th-century bridge runs for 200 meters. The ceiling of the bridge consists of paintings from the 17th century and depicts events from the history of Lucerne. Most of the bridge had been destroyed in 1993. This is a sight that you should not miss out on. I found a souvenir shop on the ground floor when I bought some items for my loved ones.
